Tamil’s ace actor- Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s most-hyped and awaited movie Indian 2, helmed by one of India’s most renowned directors Shankar Shanmugham, is all set for its huge release in June 2024. However, the makers haven’t announced the exact date of the movie’s release.
The makers of the much-awaited movie, took to their social media to make this huge announcement official. They also released a stunning poster featuring Kamal in the iconic ‘senapathy’ attire, while the poster hints at his zero tolerance towards corruption.
Billed to be the most-hyped sequel to Indian, a 1996 movie, Indian 2 was announced in 2017 officially. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan reprises his role as Senapathy, an aging freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption.
Late actors Nedumudi Venu and Vivek played significant roles alongside Kamal Haasan, ‘Chithha’ Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Rakul Preet Singh in Indian 2. Anirudh Ravichander has taken charge as the music director for this monumental movie. Under the banners Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies, Udayanidhi Stalin and A Subaskaran are producing Indian 2.
Indian 2 boasts highly talented technicians, while the Cinematography is handled by Ravi Varman, and A. Sreekar Prasad is editing the political drama.
Indian 2, with its stellar cast and esteemed craftsmen, might bring Tamil film back to prominence throughout the country.
