One of the most creative and high paid directors in India S. Shankar is currently working on his upcoming films, Indian 2 and Game Changer. Indian 2 marks the sequel to Indian (1996), which was also made by him. This film features the versatile actor Kamal Haasan in the lead role. Indian 2 is an upcoming Tamil vigilante action film. Whereas, Game Changer is a Telugu language socio political action thriller film that features Ram Charan in the lead role. The title Game Changer was announced last month. Also, there were a few updates from the makers about both films recently.
Recently, Kamal Haasan flew to South Africa for a shooting schedule for Indian 2. Today, the director of the film, S. Shankar, shared a picture of him and Kamal Haasan thanking him for the power-packed schedule. He also added that he would meet the actor soon, in May, for the next schedule of Indian 2. Shankar has also mentioned that he is moving to the schedule of the Game Changer movie, on which he will be working on the climax now. S. Shankar is now shooting both Game Changer and Indian 2 simultaneously.

Indian 2 is written by S. Shankar, and the story for Game Changer is penned by Karthik Subbaraj. The producers of the film Indian 2 are Subaskaran Allirajah and Udhayanidhi Stalin, under the banners of Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Bobby Simha, and Siddharth. Game Changer is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. It features Kiara Advani and Anjali. A. R. Rahman and Anirudh Ravichander are composing the music for Indian 2, and for Game changer music is being composed by Thaman S.
