On March 8, the Malayalam film “Premalu,” which received a monumental response from the Telugu states, was dubbed in Telugu and released in theaters. The main performers in the Girish A-directed film are Mamitha Baiju and Naslen K. Gafoor.
SS Karthikeya, a well-known line producer and the son of SS Rajamouli presented the Telugu version of Premalu. SS Karthikeya who was greatly impressed with the Malayalam original, took on the task of releasing the Telugu dubbing of the film
“Premalu!!!!! Thank you MY Telugu Audience for the endless love you all have given my first film as a distributor!!
It has reassured my belief that good cinema knows no language barriers! Loved every aspect of distributing this film, checking footfalls, celebrating the sale of every ticket and the feeling of a house full theatre”, SS Karthikeya’s post reads.
Karthikeya also wrote, “This was the exact high I experienced during the Oscars around the same time last year”, referring to ‘RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ winning the Oscars.
“While #Premalu is having its glorious run and with all the love and this massive energy, I want to announce the beginning of my ultimate dream, producing good cinema. It’s been close to two years since we have started developing the scripts. With the pre-production work almost completed, the time has come to announce them”, Karthikeya wrote, as he announced the details of his upcoming projects.

Earlier today, SS Karthikeya announced his upcoming movies- ‘Oxygen’ and ‘Don’t Trouble The Trouble’, both starring Malayalam’s seasoned actor Fahadh Fassil in the lead roles. Noted producer Shobu Yarlagadda’s banner Arka Media Works & Karthikeya’s banner Showing Business are coming together to fund for the projects, while SS Rajamouli will present them.
