It has been my dream to do a film with Balakrishna garu right from the time I entered the film industry. In the last 25 years, no other film has show the way we have presented him in Daaku Maharaaj. I can say it proudly.
Distributors know how to prioritize when there are multiple festival releases. They know the stakes. I am confident that Daaku Maharaaj is going to take spectacular openings.

In real life, Balakrishna garu reacts genuinely when people face issues. His character in Daaku Maharaaj is much like his real-life self. Daaku is like a Robinhood. The story takes place in the 1990s. In terms of action, story and visuals, this is my most superior movie.
Not just Balakrishna garu’s character, every single character is crucial in the larger scheme of things. The characters played by Bobby Deol, Shraddha Srinath and others have so much meat.
I and my producer grew up watching the movies of Chiranjeevi garu and Balakrishna garu. We directed all our efforts to ensure that we show the best version of Balakrishna garu in Daaku Maharaaj.
Dialogues, one-liners and action episodes in Balayya garu’s movies give the audience a high. Daaku Maharaaj goes beyond. When we watch acclaimed Malayalam movies, for example, we talk about the story. We want to give such an experience this time.
We have done world-creation in Daaku Maharaaj. This is going to be a visual experience. Even filmmakers from other languages are going to be inspired.
