After becoming the highest grosser in Balakrishna’s career, Daaku Maharaaj is now heading to OTT. Netflix will make the film available for streaming from February 21st.

Daaku Maharaaj, directed by Bobby Kolli, has music by SS Thaman. Co-starring Bobby Deol, Shraadha Srinath, Pragya Jaiswal and others, the film is technically acclaimed. Vijay Kartik Kannan and Avinash Kolla are the cinematographer and production designer, respectively.
The film is about a civil engineer named Sitaram (Nandamuri Balakrishna) who is forced to turn violent when faced with a ruthless mining baron. Powered by an army of a bunch of loyal soldiers, he must also save the life of a girl child named Vaishnavi. Will Sitaram, who had to turn into a mythical figure named Daaku Maharaaj, be able to overcome the threat of desperadoes and realize his mission? That’s what the story is about.
Balakrishna was recently in the news for being honoured by the Government of India with Padma Bhushan.
