The graceful and divine first-look poster of Samantha from the upcoming mythological epic Shaakuntalam was released on Monday. On the occasion Producer Neelima Guna lauded the dedication of the Pushpa diva by exemplifying a situation she braved during the shooting of Shaakuntalam.
The movie maker revealed that Samantha Ruth Prabhu had to go through difficulties but never stopped shooting for Shaakuntalam. As per the character’s demand, Samantha had to wear specific designed accessories due to which she developed rashes on her skin.
Samantha dons the role of Shakuntala based on the mythological story who was raised in a forest in Muni ashram. To bring in the resemblance, designer Neeta Lulla styled typical jewellery for Samantha.
They used floral accessories that were imported from Amsterdam. These accessories were customised to suit the current generation, while it will still showcase the special character, Neelima Guna elaborated.
