Brahmastra, written and directed by Ayan Mukerji, is one of the highest budgeted movies in Indian cinema, probably the second highest after Adipurush. The film’s overall budget is around 410 crores, as known from the sources. Brahmastra is produced by Star Studios in association with Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures. The film is technically very strong, as seen from the trailer, and Ayan Mukerji made sure that the film looks visually brilliant. A huge amount was spent on the VFX department for such an output. But besides that, it was the natural locations that made the film much more beautiful. Here we bring you the list of a few locations where Brahmastra was shot.
Brahmastra was shot in Varanasi, the most ancient, spiritual, and sacred city in India. The makers did shoot the film here on a 20-day schedule. Ramnagar fort and Chet Singh fort are the shooting locations. The film was even shot on the ghats, especially for the Kesariya song. The makers also shot the film in Manali and the other hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. Brahmastra production even took place in foreign locations, including Bulgaria in Europe, London in England, and New York in the USA. Brahmastra was mostly shot in a few ancient places in India to capture the real ambience of ancient India so as to represent its culture and tell the stories related to its mythology.
Brahmastra is going to be a visual spectacle. The trailer and the other promos that have been released so far are just a sample of the magnum opus film. The real visual feast will be witnessed by the audience on the big screen tomorrow, September 9th.
