Brahmastra, the most anticipated upcoming pan-Indian movie, the most discussed movie over the last few months, the highest budgeted fantasy adventure film, Ayan Mukerji’s dream project and what not. Here are a few statistics about the advance bookings and the release day box office collections predicted for the film Brahmastra.
Brahmastra movie joined hands with the PVR multiplexes nationwide, as known to us all. So far, the film has got around 95 thousand tickets booked for the opening day, which may result in a collection of more than 3.5 crore rupees. The PVR multiplexes also reported bookings of 70 thousand and 50 thousand tickets for the second and third days, respectively. In addition to these, many other national-level multiplexes, including INOX and CINEPOLIS, have been added to this list. Besides multiplexes, there are also a huge number of single-screen theatres showing the film across the nation. So, keeping all these calculations in mind, it is expected by the analysts that Brahmastra will be the highest Bollywood grossing film post pandemic. The film is expected to gross more than 60 crores in India across all languages. The North market alone is expected to generate nearly 30 crores. While coming to the Telugu states, so far, Dangal and Dhoom 3 hold the records for the highest overall and opening day collections respectively for a Hindi film in Telugu. Now it is expected that Brahmastra will break the records of Dangal. To break the records of Dangal, Brahmastra needs to collect more than 25 crores from the Telugu states alone.
Brahmastra has several factors to get immense support and response from the Telugu audience. SS Rajamouli, India’s top filmmaker from Tollywood, supported the film a lot and even presented it in Telugu along with the other South Indian languages. Tollywood’s young tiger and top actor, Jr NTR, also extended his support for the film and promoted it. Tollywood’s king, Nagarjuna, played a prominent role in the film. And best of all, Brahmastra deals with Hindu culture, mythology, and traditions, which are very much liked and adored by the Telugu audience.
