Icon Star After making waves at the esteemed Berlin Film Festival, Allu Arjun talked about the “Pushpa” franchise and how he has been closely watching the audience’s attitude as they have been showing such affection for Sukumar’s directorial. In a lengthy interview with international media, Allu Arjun describes how he has been monitoring audience reactions from a variety of angles.
“I couldn’t really tell the difference between how Indians living in cities saw the movie Pushpa 1- The Rise, and how people in other countries did. In my opinion, urban Indians bear similarities to audiences worldwide. Thus, I’ve received comparable responses from urban audiences in India and abroad regarding what they enjoyed about the film’s candor or the performances”, Arjun remarked.
In addition to sharing his expertise of the Pushpa market in a global cinematic context, Allu Arjun talked about how the series has progressed, and explains that ‘Pushpa 2- The Rule’ will be bigger, citing a number of fascinating elements.
At the Berlin Film Festival, Allu Arjun disclosed some intriguing details about his character Pushpa and his confrontation with the nefarious Banwar Singh Shekhawat, who is portrayed by Malayalam actor Fahadh Fassil.
Pushpa, a figure in the first part, effectively takes over the syndicate towards the conclusion, as revealed by the ‘Arya’ actor.
“It was operating on a regional level up until that point; it will now operate on a national and worldwide level,” Arjun stated. Fahadh Faasil as police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat appears in “Pushpa 1” as a source of irritation for Pushpa. According to Arjun, their disagreement would “escalate to a much bigger, bigger scale.”
Allu Arjun hinted at his next big films as he wrapped up his conversation, but he didn’t reveal any significant information.
‘Pushpa 2- The Rule’ will hit the screens on August 15, 2024. Helmed by Sukumar, the movie stars Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role. The movie is financially backed by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, and is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar.
