Star Boy Siddu Jonnalagadda is back in action as an actor-writer with Tillu Square, which has hit the screens today, ie. March 29, 2024. Helmed by Ram Mallik, the movie ‘Tillu Square’ is the sequel to the blockbuster movie ‘DJ Tillu’, and vows even more fun and entertainment. In Tillu Square, which is promoted as the sequel to “DJ Tillu,” Siddhu portrays Balagangadhar Tilak, also known as Tillu. His love interest is Anupama Parameswaran. With its lighthearted take on the narrative, it is expected to entertain a broad range of people.
‘Tillu Square’ is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios banners.. Its music is composed by Ram Miriyala and Achu Rajamani.
Tillu Square Telugu Movie Review
Tillu Square Storyline:
After falling victim to Radhika in DJ Tillu, Bala Gangadhar Tilak, also known as Tillu, fails to learn his lesson. In Tillu Square, he meets Lilly (Anupama Parameswaran) in a nightclub. They decide to have a one-night stand while appearing to be deeply in love with one another.
Following their one-night stand, Lilly abruptly vanishes. When Lilly eventually arrives and says their one-night fling was the cause of her pregnancy, Tillu has the shock of his life.
The answers to some of the biggest questions—like who Lilly is and whether or not she is trapping Tillu—will only be revealed in cinemas.
On-screen Performances:
Siddhu, as Tillu, has once again outperformed everyone with his sharp humor and memorable one-liners. The main assets of this comedic performer remain Siddhu’s expressions, vocabulary, and overall performance.
The contribution of Anupama Parameswaran is extremely significant. Anupama looks lovely in addition to giving a wonderful performance.
Muralidhar Goud, who has reprised Tillu’s father, has given his best in Tillu Square too. In contrast to the conventional father characterization, Muralidhar Goud’s role is as entertaining as Siddhu Jonnelagadda’s. Praneeth Reddy, Adarsh Balakrishna, and others performed well in their roles.
Technical Aspects:
Director Mallik Ram has performed a commendable job of entertainingly narrating this well-known plot. The narrative and the melodies work well together. The songs by Ram Miryala and Achu Rajamani are well-done, while Bheems Ceciroleo’s background score fits well with the humorous tone of the movie. Navin Nooli’s editing is crisp, while Sai Prakash’s cinematography is amazing, with vibrant frames. Plus, the production values are excellent.

“Tillu Square” is a hilarious follow-up to the highly regarded DJ Tillu film. There’s action as well, with the main actors Siddhu, Anupama, Muralidhar, and others giving amusing performances. An ideal weekend entertainment with a few surprising turns.
