Asvins is the latest Telugu movie featuring Tamil actors Vasanth Ravi and Vimala Raman in prominent roles. This film is penned and directed by debut filmmaker Tarun Teja. Five friends, Arjun (Vasanth Ravi), Rithvika (Saras Menon), Varun (Muralidharan Subramanian), Rahul (Udaya Deep), and Grace (Malina Atul), are YouTubers. They visit a haunted mansion after getting an opportunity from UK black tourism. This haunted mansion is located near London. It is marked as haunted after the mansion witnesses 15 murders and its previous resident, Aarti Rajagopal (Vimala Raman), goes missing. The rest of the film is about the experiences Arjun and his friends face at the haunted mansion. Will they get out safe and alive?

With the recent film, Virupaksha, Telugu audiences are now expecting another great horror film after witnessing the trailer of the film, Asvins. This film is more of a psychological thriller. The plotline of the film is so engaging that it will surely bind the audience to the edge of their seats. Along with the suspense and thrill, the movie is shot in some scenic locations, which gives it a silent and dreadful vibe. The makers have created an exceptional illusion with music as an add-on.
On-Screen Performances:
Vasanth Ravi is a Tamil actor who hasn’t tried a horror film till now. His role as Arjun is commendable. His screen presence and performance stood out in the entire movie.
Vimala Raman has also had a very good and thrilling screen presence.
The performances of other supporting actors in the film are good and provide thrills.
Off-Screen Technical Highlights:
Tarun Teja, with his first film, has successfully scared everyone in the theater (in a positive way). His storyline and execution of the film were very good. The film not only has a thrill but is also a visual treat for everyone who watches it.
