Dasara Telugu Movie Review:
Set in the rustic village of Veerlapally in Godavarikhani in 1995, Dasara is the film revolving around the three main characters Dharani, Vennela, and Suri. This is a story involving love and friendship, with characters emotionally juggling to find love for each other. The main theme of the plot is closely tied to politics and the silk bar. The way the village sarpanch affected their lives forms the rest of the story.
The film has interesting twists that are unpredictable to the audience, and also, the interval and climax scenes might just surprise you. The dialogues by Thota Srinivas created a hype throughout the movie, which elevated the whole experience on the big screen. Talking about an action film without appreciating the effort behind the action sequences might just miss a major technicality. The action choreography in the film is on another level, unleashing a new Nani onscreen for the audience.
Nani gave one of the best performances in this film, Dasara. He did an excellent job with the Telangana accent. The way he portrayed his emotions was so well done that audiences will be spellbound by the story. Also, the action sequences he performed were intense. This role was a different approach for Nani after his last few films and is the most versatile one he has ever played.
Keerthy Suresh as Vennela was perfect for this role, which was natural. Her playing a de-glam role and pulling it off with ease was excellent.
Supporting characters in the film did a notably good job, including Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, Sai Kumar, Samuthirakani, Poorna, and others.
Srikanth Odela made his debut a risky one. However, his attempt was successful in showcasing the cause and purpose of making this film. The way he handled a star cast with such a huge budget was something an established director would do. His work experience under the director Sukamar is an added asset to his filmmaking.
The camera work done by the cinematographer, Sathyan Sooryan and also the stunt choreography by Real Satish, Anbariv were excellent.
A tale of Friendship, Love and Politics. Some of the best performances delivered which are to be experienced on big screens with raw emotions.
