Veera Simha Reddy Movie Review:
Veera Simha Reddy Movie Story:
Veera Simha Reddy (Balakrishna) and Bhanumathi (Varalaxmi Sarathkumar) are brothers and sisters from different mothers. However, Bhanumathi gets separated from her brother because of some misunderstanding after the murder of their beloved person. Veera Simha Reddy continues to live his faction life with his people until Pratap Reddy (Duniya Vijay) kills him. Following Veera Simha Reddy’s death, his son, Jai Simha Reddy, takes on public leadership.
Balakrishna is the man made for these kinds of roles. We have earlier witnessed Samarasimha Reddy, Narasimha Naidu, and Chennakesava Reddy in similar setups. Veera Simha Reddy belongs to the same category where Balakrishna is presented as the god of masses. Balakrishna entertained the audience with his mass action throughout the film. The surprising factor in Balayya’s acting is his excellent dance moves. Balakrishna also entertained with his powerful dialogue delivery, for which he is the brand ambassador. Overall, it is Balayya’s wholesome show once again.
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is the next best to Balakrishna among all the actors in the film. She got a very important and worthy role. Varalaxmi’s performance is outstanding. She leads the second half of the film completely, along with Balakrishna. It is commendable that the actress changed a lot physically to fit two looks in the film.
Honey Rose played another major female role in the film. She can be seen as the sister-in-law of Balakrishna. She looks elegant on screen in both roles. Her performance in old age is impressive.
Duniya Vijay is the perfect pick for the antagonist. He is powerful and terrific on screen opposite Balakrishna.
Shruti Haasan is merely a glamorous addition to the film. She is mostly used for songs.
Michael Lal as Siddhappa gets a very worthy role and shares quality screen time with Balakrishna.
Gopichandh Malineni executed the film perfectly according to the commercial script he has written. Putting up the fan boy in him in the front, he delivered all the mass action stuff for the audience. The plot written about the brother-and-sister relationship is good. All Gopichandh Malineni did was present Balakrishna at his extreme best. The director also took enough care to give a couple of other roles decent characterization. Gopichand can be said to be true to his love and admiration for Balayya.
Thaman S is clearly the film’s second off-screen hero. The background score is just electrifying. Among the songs, Jai Balayya stands out the best.
Sai Madhav Burra’s dialogues are very powerful. He framed some meaningful dialogues around the current political and public scenario.
The action choreography by Ram-Lakshman is superb. The film’s production values are also good.
Veera Simha Reddy is another mass action entertainer from Balakrishna’s filmography. This time, Balayya’s film also has some valuable emotions. On a single note, “Faction and Affection are balanced in this mass film from the god of masses, Balayya“.
