The Daggubati Venkatesh starrer Narappa is one of the most anticipated and awaited films of Tollywood. Narappa is the remake of the superhit Tamil film Asuran, which starred Dhanush. The Telugu remake is directed by Srikanth Addala. Narappa is doing all the justice to the original film as the posters, motion teaser and the first glimpse have been received immensely well by the audience. After a tragic year like 2020, the year 2021 is for movie buffs, as Narappa added its release date to the list.
The makers of the film took to Twitter and shared a new poster to announce the official release date of the film. The Telugu remake Narappa, will hit the big screens on May 4, 2020. Venkatesh looks as intense and fierce as Narappa in the new poster.

The Telugu remake will see Venkatesh reprise the role Dhanush played in the original, Narappa an ageing farmer, while Priyamani plays the role of his wife Sundaramma in the film. The film also stars Prakash Raj, Karthik Rathnam, Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj in crucial roles.
The film has completed 60 days of its shoot at a rapid pace before the lockdown was issued in March, and now the remaining portions are being shot. Narappa is bankrolled by Kalaippuli S. Thanu and Daggubati Suresh Babu, under the banner of Suresh Productions.
The Tamil film Asuran was a superhit and the lead actor Dhanush is still remembered as the Asuran of the Tamil film industry. As Venkatesh is reprising the role in the Telugu remake, the hopes are high as ever. Fans of Victory Venkatesh are eagerly awaiting to experience the action in Summer, 2021.
