Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has been on a break from her movies, is actively promoting her upcoming Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’. Apart from promoting her upcoming web series Citadel, Samantha has been actively participating as the speaker, for a health-based podcast- Take 20, along with health expert Alkesh Sharotri.
In the third episode of ‘Take 20’, Samantha and Alkesh revealed some shocking incidents that happened on the sets of Samantha’s upcoming Citadel.
Speaking of how strenuous the action part for the Citadel was, Samantha Ruth Prabhu said, “Citadel shooting was full of physical action. Lots of calls were made to Alkesh”.
“My assistant had called Alkesh several times saying Samantha has a spasm, she has cramping and all”, Samantha said, giggling.
Alkesh, who recalled a situation when Samantha had fainted, said, “I remember this particular time when you had to give an action sequence, and you had a head concussion”.
Samantha said, “Om my God I passed out”. Alkesh conveyed that when Samantha had a head concussion, her temporary trainer was not helping to relay the information.
“Those were crazy times”, Alkesh said, as they both laughed out loud. Alkesh also revealed that Samantha was also traveling when she was facing these health issues as she tried to maintain her mental wellness.
Samantha claimed that altering her perspective on her physical and mental well-being had improved her general state of health. Samantha found that keeping a daily journal helped her stay focused while she worked through her anxiety attacks.
Citadel: Honey Bunny is the spin-off of the American TV series Citadel, created by Raj & DK and written and directed by Raj & DK and Sita R. Menon. It stars Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sikandar Kher, Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem, and Emma Canning in the lead roles.
