Rebelstar Prabhas, who ascended to international fame after the ‘Baahubali’ series, recently appeared in the pan-Indian blockbuster ‘Salaar’. Now that he is all geared up to appear on the big screen with his mammoth-budget movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, he has kickstarted the promotions in style.
Rebel Star Prabhas’s next film Kalki 2898 AD’s producers had planned a unique event in Hyderabad on Wednesday night to introduce BUjji, a custom-built, luxurious car, and to premiere a nearly one-minute-long trailer. A large crowd of about 20,000 people attended the event, and they were all thrilled to see Prabhas’s exciting performance on the day.
When Prabhas took the stage dressed as Bhairava, impressed everyone with his short, yet impressive speech.
Prabhas heaped praises on India’s most acclaimed actors Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, as he addressed the gathering.
“I consider myself lucky to have the opportunity to work with legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, who are the icons in Indian cinema.
“I heartfully thank them for acting in Kalki, as I know the fact that the whole of India is inspired by these two actors. I have drawn so much inspiration from these great people”, he expressed.
The Kalki actor also thanked his creators and spoke about the amount of work that went into making the film. After heaping praises on director Nag Ashwin, Prabhas playfully said, “My director Nag Ashwin tortured me for three years.” “I merely planned to show up casually to the gathering. But Nag Ashwin had me perform these antics.
Speaking of his other co-stars Deepika Padukone and Disha Pathani, Prabhas expressed that the actresses are so dedicated to their respective careers.
As he went on, Prabhas said, “I was fascinated to see Mr Dutt’s confidence at this age. He never bothered about the budget. He is the only producer who has been in the industry for 50 years. Luckily, he has 2 beautiful daughters who have the same madness and daring that of their father. The way they work, we should all get inspired. Thanks to Swapna and Priyanka. Bujji is another superstar. Thanks to national media for covering up this event.”
The event was a huge success, drawing raves from the national media, fans, and spectators for its creatively designed programs.
