The “raw statement” of The Paradise is out. Since those associated with bringing it out had described it as “grand, bold and a very wild” one, everyone of us had been hyped before its release. The involvement of one of the finest talents like Anirudh Ravichander only took the hype to the next level.
The glimpse shows Natural Star Nani‘s character as a rebel who takes up arms to liberate the metaphorical crows of his oppressed community. Described poignantly as the “son of a bit*h”, he is dark and dangerous. Director Srikanth Odela seems to have set the story in a fictional land where poverty and repression are rampant. While the landscape may be imaginary, certain parallels to the real world exist.
This is our STATEMENT.
THE PARADISE
WILL RISE.@odela_srikanth & @anirudhofficial MADNESS. 🔥🐦⬛ https://t.co/r46KwAqYkf#TheParadise IN CINEMAS 𝟐𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.@sudhakarcheruk5 @NavinNooli @dop_gkvishnu @artkolla @SLVCinemasOffl @TheParadiseOffl pic.twitter.com/rF78cxNRBx— Nani (@NameisNani) March 3, 2025
Produced by SLV Cinemas’ Sudhakar Cherukuri, the film is edited by Navin Nooli. By all means, The Paradise is the most violent in Nani’s career. As the glimpse shows, he is trigger-happy as someone who has feasted on blood for want of milk. He and his fellow comrades are not beautiful like doves. But theirs is a war cry.
Nani’s get-up is uncommon. Co-starring Sonali Kulkarni, the film’s production design and cinematography are by Avinash Kolla and GK Vishnu, respectively. Written by Arjuna Paturi, Vamshi Krishna Pinnika, Vasanth Masadi, and Bala Ganesh K, the Additional Screenplay is by Vinay Sagar Jonnala and Madhava Murthy Bojanapu.
The film will hit the screens on March 26th, 2026.
