The Hindi-language blockbuster, Chhaava, is now arriving in Telugu. Geetha Arts will be releasing the Vicky Kaushal-starrer in the Telugu States on March 7th.
They say the brutal execution of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj (the film describes him as the most fearless king) barely diminished his heroic spirit. The blockbuster film from Bollywood is a testament to the same. The Trailer, coming as it does after the Hindi original became a sensational hit, works even better.

Akshaye Khanna’s Aurangazeb seethes with rage. As he flies into paroxysms, the Marathas prepare for a nail-biting battle. The historic rivalry between the Marathas and the Mughals has been captured on a blockbuster scale.
The action choreography appears to suit the warrior characters, complete with excellent aerial battles. Swords and arrows slice through enemies, as the visuals indicate. Expect a series of intense fight scenes that are whistle-worthy without taking too many creative liberties.
Chhaava is directed by Laxman Utekar. Rashmika Mandanna looks apt. Ashutosh Rana (as Sersenapati Hambirrao Mohite), Vineet Kumar (as Kavi Kalash), Diana Penty, Divya Dutta, Santosh Juvekar, Alok Nath, Pradeep Rawat, Kiran Karmarkar, Balaji Manohar and others have played different roles. The music has been composed by AR Rahman. Vicky Kaushal’s performance is matched by Akshaye Khanna’s in this one. Post the release of the film, several videos of public reactions have gone viral on social media.
