MAD Square, one of the biggest hits of the year so far, is arriving on OTT. Get ready to watch it on Netflix. April 25th is when the Kalyan Shankar-directed comedy entertainer will make its digital debut.
The film, co-starring Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Sobhan, Ram Nitin and Vishnu Oi, was a box-office blockbuster. Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas produced it. “If an entertainer is hilarious, nobody can stop it. MAD had an element of relatability because it was a college campus story. MAD Square is set in Goa. Comparisons can’t be made,” presenter S Naga Vamsi said a few days after the release of MAD Square.

The film is set in Goa and other locations. Laddu (Vishnu Oi) has been lodged in a jail. When his fellow prisoners prod him narrate how he ended up in a soup, he tells the story of his spoiled wedding because of his college friends: Manoj (Ram Nithin), Ashok (Narne Nithiin), and Damodhar aka DD (Sangeeth Sobhan). After his bride eloped in a quirky turn of events, the four friends jetted off to Goa, only to find themselves ensnared in a burglary. Bhai (Sunil), a comical don, was after them. How did the friends bail themselves out of the self-inflicted weird situation? That’s what the story is all about.
