Let us discuss Mahesh Babu’s blockbuster film Bharat Ane Nenu, directed by Koratala Siva and produced by DVV Danayya.
Bharat Ane Nenu Movie Highlights:
Bharat Ane Nenu opens with Bharat Ram (Mahesh Babu) receiving his graduation certificate from the University Of Oxford. This opening might be simple, but it lets the audience know that Bharat Ram is highly qualified which will be useful for further proceedings of scenes in the film. This is a simple, but brilliant writing from Koratala Siva.
The backstory of Bharat’s childhood plants the major theme of the film. Bharat knowing the importance of keeping up the promises made by his mother, makes a huge impact on his thought process completely. “One needs to stand on the promise made, despite any diversions or obstacles”.
Bharat noticing the public violating the traffic rules is well shot. This particular scene not only provokes thoughts in Bharat’s mind but also in the minds of the audience too.
Mahesh Babu looks ultra-stylish in those simple but class formals throughout the film. Not only his dress but also his disciplined and royal body language projects him as the perfect chief minister by looks.
“Trust me. I am a very fast learner”. These lines from Bharat Ram suggest that he is going to learn everything very soon that requires him to be a chief minister of the state. Also, Bharat decides to take action against the public for the violation of the traffic rules on his very first day as a CM. He implements it very soon. This is a perfect setup for the story and the audience that Bharat does not belong to the group of politicians in the state, but he has a better vision. Bharat is not a man of words, he is a man of actions.
“We are living in a society. Everyone should have fear and responsibility”.
“Antahkarana Shuddhitho”. Bharat answering the same word to the press reporter who degraded him for his knowledge of Telugu is the most popular scene in the film. Yes, Bharat is a very fast learner.
Vasumathi (Kiara Advani) looks so fresh in the film. She is super cute and is a perfect match for the superstar.
Accountability. This element is greatly infused into the film. Koratala Siva shows his strength in writing, not only by letting his hero deliver the dialogues but also by pointing fingers at every common man’s life. Koratala Siva’s dialogues are not just dialogues, they are the questions that are left unanswered by the system and the society. Yes, everyone should be accountable for what they does.
Bharat Ane Nenu title song is not only one of the best title songs but also a thematic and a thought-provoking one. Devi Sri Prasad composed a cool tune for the song. Ramajogayya Sastry’s lyrics are awesome.
The meeting about the educational system conducted by Bharat Ram shows the vision of Koratala Siva. This scene discussing the lack of facilities in public schools and heavy fees in private schools is another slap for most of the state governments in India.
The interval bang where the chief minister goes against the joint evil forces of the ruling party and the opposition party shows the strength of the lead character. The characterisation of Bharat is written so strong. The strength is as high as the promise made by Bharat. “One who stands on the promise he made is only called a man. And I promise you all that I will make each one of you stand on your promises”.
The Durgamahal fight scene in Rachakonda is the best action scene in the entire film. The fight looks so stylish, more than that being an intense one. Mahesh Babu holding a sword at the end of the fight, in complete contrast with his costumes, is the best posture of the film. This fight is a real mass treat to the superstar fans.
Vachaadayyo Saami song offers the Telugu audience, Mahesh Babu, in the traditional clothes of Dhoti and Kurta. Mahesh in these clothes resembles many great leaders from the regions of Rayalaseema.
Bharat Ram meeting the people in the areas all over the state and knowing their problems is very well picturized. Agriculture, irrigation, farming, water, transport, housing, and all other problems are very well shown.
Bharat addressing the media after writing wrong about his relationship with Vasumathi is the best highlight of the film. Mahesh Babu delivered this speech with utmost intensity. This scene showcases Mahesh’s epitome skills in acting. “I am not done yet,” is the one-liner that outbursts Mahesh’s intensity in acting.
“Building a society which does not require a leader to rule it, is the true leadership quality” – Koratala Siva.
