- Actor Vivekh’s demise
The sudden demise of Tamil actor and comedian Vivekh came as a shock to many. The actor was hospitalized after a cardiac attack and passed away last Saturday. Besides being an amazing actor, Vivekh was an environmentalist, a humanitarian. The entire Indian film industry mourns his loss.
- Massive Set For Shyam Singha Roy
Nani’s periodic drama Shyam Singha Roy is one of the most anticipated Telugu movies of this year. For this ambitious project, a massive set depicting Kolkata City was erected on 10 acres of land. Art director Avinash Kolla shared the effort and creativity it took to create this humongous set.

- Om Raut On Adipurush
The pan Indian movie and the Prabhas starrer, Adipurush is currently filming. This pan Indian film is helmed by Om Raut. The director revealed Adipurush completed 30% of its filming and the team of Adipurush is strictly adhering to the safety protocols.
- Gully Rowdy Teaser
The humour filled teaser of the Sundeep Kishan starrer Gully Rowdy was released by the Rowdy Star Vijay Deverakonda. This comical teaser received a great response and amassed almost 3 millions views on YouTube.
- Radhe Shyam, Khiladi and Ghani Shooting Halted
In the light of the second wave of the Coronavirus, many projects were pushed forward. The Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam, Ravi Teja’s Khiladi and the Varun Tej starrer Ghani are the movies for which shooting came to a halt.
- Nazriya Fahadh begins shooting for Ante Sundariniki
While many movie shoots were stopped temporarily, the malayali beauty Nazriya Fahadh began shooting for her first Telugu movie Ante Sundariniki opposite Nani.

- Movie Anniversaries : Badri, Darling, Sarrainodu and Bharat Ane Nenu
Four of the most iconic movies celebrated their anniversaries this week. They are Pawan Kalyan’s Badri, Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu, Prabhas’s Darling and Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu movies.
- RRR movie makes a record
The Komaram Bheem teaser of the Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR) movie was released last October. Since then, the teaser has amassed 50 million views on YouTube making it the first Telugu movie teaser to reach the 50 million mark.
- Dulquer Salmaan as Lieutenant Ram
Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan made his Telugu debut with Mahanati (2018.) The actor’s first look from his latest Telugu movie titled Yuddham Tho Rasina Prema Katha was released. The short video shows him as Lieutenant Ram in this period drama movie.

- Wild Dog streaming on Netflix
The Nagarjuna starrer Wild Dog movie hit the theatres this month and received good success and rave reviews. The movie is now streaming on the international OTT platform Netflix in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.
