Popular Tamil actor Manobala Garu has been suffering from liver problems for the past couple of months. He got an angio-treatment in January this year. He passed away today due to health issues. Manobala Garu was 69 years old and is survived by his wife Usha and son Harish. His demise is confirmed by his family. Celebrities like Rajinikanth, Director Bharathiraja, senior actress Raadhika Sarathkumar, Karthi, Manchu Manoj, and several others offered their condolences on social media.
Manobala Garu is a popular actor, comedian, director and producer. He started his film career in 1979 with Puthiya Vaarpugal. He gained popularity as a comedian and is familiar to Telugu audiences too. Manobala Garu acted with several star actors in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam film industries. The actor was last seen in the Telugu film Waltair Veerayya, and Tamil films Kondraal Paavam and Ghosty.

Manobala Garu has won SIIMA Award for Best Debut Producer for his first produced film, Sathuranga Vettai. He has also provided his voice for Zazu in the film, The Lion King. All of us will miss his screen presence in supporting roles and the laughter he had provided us throughout his career. May your soul rest in peace, Manobala Garu.
