Chiyaan Vikram’s latest movie release, Ponniyin Selvan 2, is a major hit at the box office and is loved by Tamil and Telugu audiences too. The role of Aditya Karikalan is played by Vikram and has an important role in the film. His performance in the role was natural and royal, which impressed everyone. The star actor has already announced his upcoming film, Thangalaan. The promotional material for this film released so far gives a clear glimpse of Vikram in a rustic appearance. Thangalaan is a periodic film being made inspired by real events that happened at the Kolar Gold Factory in Karnataka.
Recently, during some rehearsals for the film Thangalaan, Chiyaan Vikram got a bad injury, and as a result, he got a broken rib. This injury was sustained by the actor. However, Vikram might not be able to join the shooting of his upcoming film Thangalaan for some time until his injury subsides. Vikram thanked everyone who supported him and assured them he would be back to normal as soon as possible.

Chiyaan Vikram’s Thangalaan is written and directed by Pa Ranjith. The film also casts Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathi, Harikrishnan Anbudurai, and others in important roles. K E Gnanavel Raja is producing the film under Studio Green and Neelam Productions. G V Prakash Kumar is providing the music for this film.
