SS Rajamouli showered praises on Premalu heroine Mamitha Baiju, likened her to Sai Pallavi

On February 9, the Malayalam film “Premalu,” which features Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju, debuted at the global box office to a remarkably positive welcome from all over the world, particularly from the Telugu states.

With the kind of response that ‘Premalu‘ has garnered, SS Karthikeya—who has produced a couple of movies in addition to serving as line producer (RRR) for several others—took the initiative to dub it in Telugu. Since its debut on March 8, Premalu Telugu has garnered a lot of praise from critics and has taken in significant sums of money at the box office.

The distributors of Premalu Telugu had organized a success meet to commemorate the huge success of the rom-com. The event witnessed all the actors and technicians of Premalu, including Naslen K. Gafoor, Mamitha Baiju, director Girish A. D, and others.

Tollywood’s popular director, SS Rajamouli, who gained international recognition after the blockbuster ‘RRR’, was present at Premalu Telugu’s success meet earlier on Tuesday.

At the success celebrations, SS Rajamouli talked about how much he liked the romantic comedy. Congratulating the Premalu team, Rajamouli heaped accolades upon all the performers and other technicians who had contributed to the film.

SS Rajamouli praised Premalu heroine Mamitha Baiju, saying, “I believe Mamitha has the potential to be the next big thing when I watched Premalu. Mamitha has the potential, just as Girija from Nagarjuna’s iconic film Geethanjali and how Sai Pallavi became everyone’s favorite.”

Rajamouli added, “It pains and makes me jealous, but the Malayalam industry makes better actors.”

Directors Anil Ravipudi and Anudeep, along with oscar-winning musician MM Keeravani were also present as the special guests at Premalu Telugu’s victory party, where they complimented the team and gave glowing reviews of the film.
