The recent triumph of Malayalam movies in Hyderabad, specifically “Bramayugam” and “Premalu,” has shown how content-rich cinema is becoming more and more popular in Telugu-speaking areas.
“Bramayugam,” which features Malayalam’s megastar Mammootty, has already been dubbed into Telugu by renowned Sithara Entertainments and is presently receiving good reviews from moviegoers.
Owing to the exceptional box office achievement of Premalu, there has been a discussion of translating it into Telugu to increase its accessibility.
The translated version of “Premalu” will soon be released in theaters thanks to the announcement made by director SS Rajamouli’s son, SS Karthikeya, that he has taken on the job of dubbing the film in Telugu.
Karthikeya, who took to his X, wrote, “Venturing into distribution for the first time with #Premalu. As soon as I watched, couldn’t resist myself to release it in Telugu. Hoping it will work here too… In our theatres, in March :)”.

“Premalu,” which is co-written and directed by Girish A. D., stars Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, and has a group of talented actors in it, including Althaf Salim, Meenakshi Raveendran, Sangeet Pratap, Shyam Mohan M, and Akhila Bhargavan.
The original Malayalam version of Premalu was released on February 9 in India and on February 15 globally.
