Sita Ramam Is A Classic Love Story: Dulquer Salmaan

Sita Ramam, the upcoming period romantic drama from the makers of Mahanati, looked very beautiful with the trailer of the film. Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur played the lead roles as Lieutenant Ram and Sita Mahalakshmi, respectively. According to the trailer and the film’s makers, the film is about love between the two leads, set against the backdrop of a war in 1965. Dulquer Salmaan thought of ending the stream of continuous love stories before the script of Sita Ramam came to him. But the actor changed his decision and came on board for the project. Dulquer Salmaan felt that Sita Ramam would be a classic forever and so he accepted the film. What did Dulquer feel like? The actor revealed his reasons behind accepting Sita Ramam. Sita Ramam will be the last love story of Dulquer Salmaan. The actor himself stated the same during the trailer launch event. Dulquer Salmaan is so happy that his last love story is an epic one. He calls it “A Classic Love Story”. In a recent interview during the promotions for Sita Ramam, Dulquer Salmaan said that he fell in love with the lead characters and the setting of Sita Ramam and so he decided to make it immediately. He felt that Sita Ramam is like a classic novel or a classic movie, which gives the audience a nostalgic feeling. Also, Dulquer Salmaan revealed that Sita Ramam is a vintage classic story from the 60s and the current generation should know such stories presenting pure love and romance. Dulquer mentioned that all these special features will surely make Sita Ramam a classic for the ages.

Sita Ramam is written and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Swapna Cinema produced the film and Vyjayanthi Movies is presenting it. Rashmika Mandanna, Sumanth, Tharun Bhascker and Gautham Menon played some prominent roles in the film. Vishal Chandrashekhar composed the music. Sita Ramam is going to be released this Friday, on August 5th.
