After repeated postponements due to the pandemic, Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film Jersey is finally going to be released on 14th April 2022. The film is an official remake of Telugu film Jersey starring Nani. The director of the Telugu version, Gowtam Tinnanuri made the film in HIndi too. The makers of the film released the trailer of the film on 4th April.
The film unit of Jersey starring Shahid Kapoor kicked off the promotions with the release of the second trailer of the film on 4th April. The trailer looks very promising. It looks like the lead actor Shahid Kapoor had put every effort to portray the role of a cricketer. Also, Shahid’s acting in the emotional scenes, especially with the characters of son and wife looks heart touching. Gowtam Tinnanuri is completely successful in repeating the same magic again. Also, the efforts of the makers of the film needs to be applauded in reproducing the masterpiece. The background score is brilliant too.

Mrunal Thakur played the lead actress in the film alongside Shahid Kapoor. Dil Raju, Aman Gill and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi produced the film jointly under the banners of Dil Raju Productions, Brat Films and Sithara Entertainments. Sachet and Parampara composed the music for the film.
