Victory Venkatesh, who is known for his family-oriented movies, is all set to appear on the screens in ‘Saindhav’, his next release. Inching towards its huge release on January 13, “Saindhav“ claims to be a family-oriented action drama.
Helmed by ‘HIT’ fame Sailesh Kolanu, the movie stars Baby Sara, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Arya, Shraddha Srinath and Ruhani Sharma. Popular actress Andrea Jeremiah will be seen in an extended cameo.
In a recent media interview, director Sailesh Kolanu said that while he was working on “Saindhav,” Venkatesh’s fame did not eclipse him from the vision of the script. Sailesh says he is fairly certain that the film will resonate with the audience while offering some insights from his experience working on it.

Important characters in “Saindhav” are all attempting to convey something. It represents the voices of parents and children with life-threatening illnesses within the context of a commercial film. That being said, this isn’t didactic. I have also taken a lot of artistic liberty,” Kolanu adds.
The plot includes incidents involving drug cartels, weapon smuggling, and other scandals. But a consignment delivery assignment serves as the main backdrop against which the story. It’s a multi-fold narration and isa big deal. I didn’t think it would make sense to limit the story to a location like Vizag. That is why I chose to set the story in a fictional setting.

When I started to narrate the script to Venkatesh sir, he readily agreed to do this. He believed that ‘Saindhav’ script will be the best bet to mark his 75th movie. I worked on the script for more than 45 days after the story was okayed.
An actor’s stardom works for the first couple of days, but the story is the main aspect to draw the audience to theaters. That is why I took much pressure to deliver a captivating script. After the “HIT” series, ‘Saindhav’ will record a hat-trick for me.
Produced by Venkat Boyanapalli, under Niharika Entertainments, ‘Saindhav’ is to lock horns with Mahesh Babu’s “Guntur Kaaram”, Teja Sajja’s “HanuMan”, and Nagarjuna’s “Naa Saami Ranga“, as the movies are all slated for their releases during Sankranthi 2024.
In one of his social media posts, Sailesh wrote an emotional note that says, “The last 20 minutes of #Saindhav will remain as one of the best pieces of cinematic experiences anyone could have witnessed in their lives and it’s just because of my man Venkatesh.”
“To even think that I managed to capture one of the finest performances of such an unsurpassed actor is really overwhelming. I was wondering do I even deserve this much in life. You will know what I am talking about on 13th. See you in the theaters”, Sailesh’s post reads.
