Actor and late politician Nandamuri Taraka Ratna tragically passed away on February 18, 2023, after battling for his life in Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital for 23 days following his huge heart attack on January 27, 2023.

Nandamuri Taraka Ratna’s Family Background:
- Taraka Ratna is the son of Nandamuri Mohan Krishna, a noted cinematographer in Tollywood.
- He is the grandson of Veteran Telugu actor and former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh- Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.
- Taraka Ratna is Tollywood’s Natasimha- Nandamuri Balakrishna’s nephew, and Jr.NTR, Kalyan Ram are his cousins.
- Taraka Ratna was born on 22 February 1983 in Hyderabad and was just 39 years old when he breathed his last. He is survived by his wife Alekhya Reddy and 3 children.

- Under the direction of A Kodandarami Reddy, Nandamuri Taraka Ratna made his acting debut in the romance drama “Okato Number Kurraadu” in 2002.
- Taraka Ratna set an industry record when he signed nine starring roles in one go at his debut, including Yuva Rathna (2003), Taarak (2003), and Bhadradri Ramudu.
- Taraka Ratna made his OTT debut in 2022 with the online series “9 Hours,” however, he was most recently featured in “Saradhi” and “S5 NO Exist.”
- In 2009, Taraka Ratna won the “Best Villain State Nandi Award” for his role in the film “Amaravathi.”
At the Telugu Desam Party’s “Yuva Galam,” Nandamuri Taraka Ratna unexpectedly abruptly collapsed in Kuppam, the Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh, from a major heart attack. Even though there was little likelihood he would survive, he battled for several days before being declared dead on February 18, 2023.
