Raju Srivastava had been in the hospital for the last 41 days. He was hospitalised on August 10th after suffering severe chest pain and collapsing on the gym floor during his workout. His family members were by his side all these days, hoping for the betterment of his health on the ventilator. Even the doctors tried a lot of treatment methods. Unfortunately, Raju Srivasthava was unresponsive to the treatment and he took his last breath today at AIIMS in Delhi at the age of 58. Raju Srivasthava’s family members confirmed his death to the press and media this morning. They said that they lost him around 10:20 AM.
Raju Srivasthava made his entry into the industry in 1980. He gained popularity in the year 2005 through the stand-up comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He did a few movies in his career as a comedian. Maine Pyar Kiya stood out as the best film of his career in terms of his performance.
Raju Srivastava also served as the chairman of the Film Development Council of Uttar Pradesh. Many celebrities from the film and entertainment industries are sending their condolences to the family of Raju Srivastava. All of us will miss his smile and the laughs he provided us throughout his career. May your soul rest in peace, Raju Srivastava sir.
