NC22 is going to be the first collaboration between Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya and Kollywood filmmaker Venkat Prabhu. Also, this is the first bilingual film for Naga Chaitanya. NC22 movie is being made in both Telugu and Tamil. After trying his luck in Hindi with Laal Singh Chaddha and getting success there, Naga Chaitanya is now set to enter Kollywood with NC22. With the kind of form the duo is currently in, Naga Chaitanya with the success of Laal Singh Chaddha and Venkat Prabhu with Maanaadu, there is a lot of buzz for NC22. Well, the makers launched the film a few months back, but they did not yet start it. Now comes the official update about the production of the film.
NC22 shooting officially starts tomorrow. The makers of NC22 made this announcement officially on Twitter by releasing a new poster for the film. As per the poster, it looks like Naga Chaitanya will be seen in the cop role in the film. The poster gives very powerful vibes. The film is going to be an action-packed one, as is evident from the statements made by the makers. The film unit of NC22 also remembered Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Chaitanya’s grandfather, in the announcement as it’s the legendary actor’s birth anniversary today. The shooting of NC22 will take place in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad tomorrow.

NC22 is written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Krithi Shetty is the lead actress in the film. Srinivasaa Chitturi will be producing the film under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen. Abburi Ravi penned the dialogues. Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja are composing the music for the film. The other details will be out soon by the film unit, probably as the shooting progresses.
