Major is the biopic film based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film is a tribute to him. Adivi Sesh played the titular role. Major Sandeep is the unsung hero of 26/11 Mumbai Attacks 2008. The entire film unit of Major movie had put in their heart and soul to make this film. The anthem of Major is titled Jana Gana Mana. The anthem starts with a question from Major Sandeep’s father, “What does it mean to be a soldier? Why do you want to be a soldier?” The anthem shows the visuals from Major Sandeep’s journey of becoming a soldier and then a hero forever in the hearts of Indians. Sricharan Pakala gave an inspiring composition. Tojan Toby and Sricharan Pakala gave the vocals for the song. Rajiv Bharadwaj penned the lyrics.

Major is written by Adivi Sesh and directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. Sony Pictures International Productions in association with GMB Entertainment Pvt Ltd and A+S Movies produced the film. Abburi Ravi penned the dialogues. The film’s cast includes Prakash Raj, Revathi, Saiee Manjrekar, Murali Sharma and Sobhita Dhulipala.
