Majili Marks A Milestone In Naga Chaitanya’s Career

Majili, a movie which is all set to hit theatres on the 5th of April, 2019, is gaining a lot of attention all over social media, owing to its unique storyline and promotions. Majili, which stars Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya, is a unique blend of emotions such as love, hate, anger, pain, misery and exhilaration.

Since both these actors worked together on close to three movies, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have explored every possible aspect and phase of love. However, in Majili, Shiva Nirvana brings a completely new perspective to falling in love after getting married. Thus, the characters of Purna and Sravani came into existence. Samantha said, “After working with one another for close to three movies and getting married to the same person, one often tends to think there is nothing new to explore about one another. However, Shiva Nirvana gave us a fresh perspective on our roles. The director gave a lot of beautiful moments in the story to Purna and Sravani and that is what makes Majili so special.”

Speaking about her role and Chaitanya’s role, Samantha stated, “My role is very different and challenging in Majili. I do not speak much in the movie yet I have to display strength, character and depth to the role of Sravani. However, I think, Chaitanya had an even more tough job than me. Majili definitely marks a milestone in his career as he has improved in leaps and bounds in this movie (sic.)”

Samantha added, “We never added any additional changes to the story or the script. Once we agreed to the script, we decided to abide by it and work by it.” Samantha’s recent project, Super Deluxe, hit theatres a couple of days back and according to her, it is receiving extremely positive reviews and reactions. Thiagarajan Kumararaja is the director of Super Deluxe while Yuvan Shankar Raja is handling the music.

Shiva Nirvana is the director of Majili, while Divyansha Kaushik, Naga Chaitanya, Samantha, Posani and Rao Ramesh are playing key roles. Gopi Sunder is composing the music for Majili.
