KGF: Chapter 2 is one of the most anticipated and awaited films of the Indian film industry. KGF 1 was released in 2018 and from then, fans of Yash and of KGF are eagerly waiting for the second part. However, due to the COVID-19 and the subsequent lockdown, the updates about the film have been postponed. Now, it seems like the fans are going to get a huge update very soon on Yash’s birthday.
A fan took to Twitter to ask Karthik Gowda, creative producer of KGF: Chapter 2, asking him to share an update on the film’s teaser. The producer’s tweet hints at a possible release on Yash’s birthday on January 8. Fan also asked if KGF: Chapter 2 shooting has been wrapped up and then asked him about the teaser. Karthik wrote in Kannada, “If we release it now, you will ask for another update during his birthday. So we will share an update during his birthday (sic.)”

Yash has already resumed the final shoot schedule of KGF 2 and Sanjay Dutt, who is playing the antagonist role of Adheera, will be joining the sets soon. Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with lung cancer so he took a 4 months break from the shoots. Prakash Raj was the latest actor to join the already stellar cast of KGF: Chapter 2 as the shooting resumed last month. The makers have also revealed the movie is on its final leg of the shooting schedule and would wrap everything up by the end of October.

KGF: Chapter 2 will be a pan Indian film like Chapter 1 and will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada. The film also features Sreenidhi Shetty, and Raveena Tandon in crucial roles. The film was scheduled to release on October 23 but has been postponed due to a Coronavirus outbreak. Now, reportedly, KGF: Chapter 2 is eyeing a release for Pongal 2021.
