Complete Actor Mohanlal will be donning a powerful cameo in Kannappa. The devotional epic action drama will feature him as Kirata, the master of the Pashupatastra, a celestial missile in Hinduism that is associated with the deities Shiva, Kali, and Adi Parashakti. Scholars say that Pashupatastra is a “powerful and irresistible weapon that can be discharged by the mind, eyes, words, or a bow”.
Introducing the character, Manchu Vishnu wrote that he is honoured to share screen space with the Mollywood legend. “The legend Sri. Mohanlal in Kannappa. I had the honor of sharing the screen space with one of the greatest actors of our time. This entire sequence will be great a bombshell (Bomb emojis),” Vishnu, who is also the film’s producer besides playing the titular character, wrote.

The film will hit the screens on April 25th, 2025.
Rebel Star Prabhas will be seen in a cameo, as a divine personality in human form. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, Mollywood actor Mohan Lal, and Kajal Aggarwal will also be seen in the movie. Kannappa also features Sarath Kumar, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Madhubala, Aishwarya Bhaskaran, Preity Mukhundan, Rahul Mahadev, Surekha Vani, Saptagiri, and others. Kannappa is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh.
