Vishnu Manchu, who has been busily working on his most-hyped historical movie ‘Kannappa’, officially launched the ‘Kannappa Comic Book- Volume 1’, as promised earlier.
In honor of the birthday of his father, seasoned actor and philanthropist Manchu Mohan Babu, Manchu Vishnu had made a commitment to reveal Kannappa comic book Volume 1. The comic book version of the mythical story of Bhakta Kannappa, “Kannappa Story Book Volume 1,” was officially unveiled by Mohan Babu on March 19 at Mohan Babu University in Rangampeta, Tirupati.
This ground-breaking effort offers readers a novel and captivating way to explore the story of Kannappa, breaking away from the traditional storytelling methods of motion pictures.
The publication of “Kannappa Story Book Volume 1” demonstrated Vishnu Manchu’s dedication to the tale itself in addition to honoring the diversity of Indian culture. In a video message published on his social media, he asked his fans and followers to send him their address so they could receive the book for free, all while getting ready for the movie ‘Kannappa’.

Speaking about Kannappa Comic book, Vishnu stated, “I wanted this story to be known to everyone. Like the movie, the comic book was my attempt to share the most compelling tale I had ever read. I believed that this was a fantastic place to start when it came to empowering the youth to take ownership of our history. For me, this was not a financial venture. I felt a strong emotional connection to the tale and wanted Kannappa’s perseverance and dedication to serve as an example for everyone.”
Kannappa, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, boasts of a fine crew with renowned Hollywood cinematographer Sheldon Chau, action director Kecha Khamphakdee, and dance maestro Prabhu Deva. The film will tell the narrative of Srikalahasti’s devotee of Lord Shiva, named Kannappa, a legend that has become rather well-known throughout the region’s history.
On the other hand, the 32nd annual day celebration of Mohan Babu University and the birthday celebration of Dr. Mohan Babu Garu, which went hand-in-hand, were both huge successes. Malayalam’s most popular actor Dr. Mohanlal Garu was the honorable chief guest, while the seasoned actor Mr. Mukesh Rishi was the distinguished guest of honor. All those there found the occasion to be a great affair.
