The entire world has been battling with Coronavirus for the last two years. Now a new variant of the same is emerging. India is once again witnessing the surge in COVID-19 cases and the film fraternity is no exception. Kamal Haasan was one among the film personalities, who tested positive for the highly infectious virus. He was immediately hospitalized and has recovered now. His daughter Shruti Haasan is still worried and said she is still a bit hesitant to go to sets. She explains the reason behind her decision.
Kamal had a mild cough after his US trip. It was diagnosed as COVID. He isolated himself in hospital. The actor said the pandemic is not yet over and requested everyone to stay safe. On the occasion Shruti stated that Kamal was tested positive for COVID-19 despite taking all the necessary safety precautions.
“My dad was super safe but it still happened. He has recovered 100% and he is back to shooting. That is wonderful news to all of us,” Shruti Haasan added. She also emphasised the necessity to get vaccinated. “I lost a friend to Covid. There are no particular permutations and combinations as to who can contract it but I definitely do believe that vaccination has reduced the impact of the virus” the actor revealed.
Shruti is pairing with Baahubali fame Prabhas in Prashanth Neel’s directorial Salaar. The action thriller is expected to release in April next year.
