Vyjayanthi Movies stands as one of the most esteemed production companies in the realm of Indian cinema and its influence transcends beyond just the Telugu film industry. Vyjayanthi Movies has collaborated with prominent actors across various Indian film languages, earning widespread recognition among the Telugu audiences for its impressive cinematic contributions. The company’s founder, Aswani Dutt, embarked on his journey in the film industry as an executive producer with the movie O Seetha Katha in 1974, directed by K. Viswanath.

The Vyjayanthi Movies logo, depicting Sr. NTR as Lord Sri Krishna with a Sankha, has remained an iconic symbol for movie enthusiasts. Following the success of this initial endeavor, the company continued to collaborate with star actors of Tollywood’s earlier generation, including Sr. NTR, ANR, Krishna, Sobhan Babu and Krishnam Raju, delivering numerous blockbuster hits and marking their respective legacies. Among all the films he produced, Aswani Dutt holds Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari (1990) as his personal favorite.
