Pan-India hero Prabhas, who ascended to global fame with the ‘Baahubali’ series, is all set to appear in the most-awaited pan-Indian movie Kalki 2898 AD. Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, is billed as a science fiction film with a mythology theme.
The movie features a talented ensemble of actors in addition to highly trained technicians. Djordje Stojiljkovic, the cinematographer for Kalki 2898 AD, is well-known for his extensive work in the field of photography as a director, producer, and visual effects artist based in Belgrade, Serbia.
In conversation with a popular media publication, Cinematographer Djordje Stojiljkovic has revealed the extent of reality and VFX used in the depiction of the city of Kaashi in Kalki 2898 AD.
The majority of the sets, according to Djordje Stojiljkovic, were constructed physically, but the visual effects enriched the final product. “Approximately 90% of what the viewer is going to see in the film as Kasi was physically constructed by a team of designers” , he said.
“The magnificent metropolis in the background is a testament to the outstanding work of visual effects enterprises.” The cinematographer stated, “A combination of thoughtful VFX additions and realistic set design went into making the streets of Kaashi and all the other locales come to life.”
Kalki 2898 AD is scheduled for a huge worldwide release on June 27, 2024. It has Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Disha Patani, and others in fascinating roles. Produced by C Aswani Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies, Santhosh Narayanan has scored the music for this most-hyped movie.
