Nani is referred to as the Natural Star because of his acting which seems to look natural and comes to him with ease. On the eve of Nani’s birthday (February 24th) his new movie titled Shyam Singha Roy, was declared amid a lot of hype. The filmmakers have also declared the movie would release on December 25th, 2020, as a Christmas Special, although that may not be the case now as the COVID-19 virus thwarted any plans of sticking to the schedule.
Shyam Singha Roy is touted to be a period drama and a major part of the movie is supposedly based in Kolkata. There is however a juicy report which is doing the rounds in the Telugu film industry. It is being speculated Sai Pallavi might be paired opposite Nani as the leading lady and that she was already approached by the producers in February. However, an announcement could not be made because of the lockdown but fans are hopeful an update regarding Sai Pallavi would be made soon.

Shyam Singha Roy is bankrolled by S. Radha Krishna under Sithara Entertainments Banner and will be directed by Taxiwala fame, Rahul Sankrityan. A.R. Rahman might be roped in to compose the music for Shyam Singha Roy.
Currently, Nani is working on a film titled V, playing an antagonist role, for the first time in his career while Sudheer Babu and Nivetha thomas as main lead actors. Bankrolled by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, V was supposed to release in the month of April but had to be postponed indefinitely because of the COVID-19 virus which forced movie theaters to shut down.
