Lately, nepotism has been an active topic on social media. A fan asked the actor if he has ever been affected by nepotism in the industry. Nikhil replied back, “Nepotism is there in Every field & profession.. Eventually Only the ones with Talent and HardWork will shine.. with or without a family.. Another fan asked him to say one word about Prabhas and the actor said “Ma Prabhas Bhai Bangaram(sic.)” The actor called Megastar Chiranjeevi as his inspiration and said he developed an interest in films after watching Gang Leader. Nikhil also revealed his favorite actress is Bhumika Chawla.

On the work front, Nikhil will be next seen in Karthikeya 2 which will be produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal under their banners of People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts, respectively. The music will be scored by Kaala Bhairava and cinematography will be handled by Karthik Ghattamaneni. The actor will also be seen in a Palnati Surya Pratap directorial film 18 Pages.
