The Daggubati Venkatesh starrer Narappa is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Asuran, which starred Dhanush. Narappa is one of the most awaited films for the movie buffs. The Telugu remake is directed by Srikanth Addala. After much postponement due to COVID-19, the team of Narappa finally wrapped up the entire shoot.
Monday evening, the makers of the film took to Twitter and shared a team picture of Narappa to announce the wrap up of the shoot. Sharing the picture on Twitter, the makers wrote,” And it’s a wrap for #Narappa ! We’ll see you in theatres this summer ☀️ #NarappaOnMay14 (sic.)’

Narappa completed 60 days of its shoot at a rapid pace before the lockdown was issued in March. The team was reluctant to resume shooting during COVID times, however, they resumed the last schedule in December and finally wrapped up the entire shoot.
The Telugu remake will see Venkatesh reprise the role Dhanush played in the original, Narappa an ageing farmer. Priyamani plays the role of his wife Sundaramma in the film. The film also stars Prakash Raj, Karthik Rathnam, Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj in crucial roles. Narappa is bankrolled by Kalaippuli S. Thanu and Daggubati Suresh Babu, under the banner of Suresh Productions. Narappa would hit the big screens on May 4, 2020, and fans of Victory Venkatesh are eagerly awaiting to experience the action
