Anushka is currently working on her next film Nishabdham in which she plays a mute artist. A part of the movie was shot in the United States of America (USA.) An interesting piece of news has surfaced regarding Anushka being offered a chance to do a special song in Saaho.
Saaho was one of the biggest grossers of 2019 and it starred Prabhas as the lead actor. Saaho had a party song for which the producers had Anushka Shetty in mind considering the chemistry she shares with Prabhas. The prospect of sharing screen space with Prabhas once again, excited Anushka Shetty so much that the Nishabdham producers were willing to temporarily relieve Anushka of her duties, so she could shoot the song for Saaho.

Even though the Nishabdham producers were willing to relieve Anushka for a small time period, the availability of Anushka’s co stars in Nishabdham was proving to be a problem. Moreover any postponement of the Nishabdham shoot in the USA, meant additional expenditure due to logistical and visa costs. Considering all these issues, Anushka Shetty decided to forego the song in Saaho so as to ensure the schedule of Nishabdham runs smoothly. It was then the Saaho producers decided to cast Jacqueline Fernandez in the place of Anushka Shetty for the song.
Anushka Shetty will be seen in the upcoming thriller film Nishabdham, which is being directed by Hemant Madhukar and produced by People Media Factory, in association with Kona Film Corporation. Anuskha Shetty will be seen alongside R. Madhavan. Nishabdham also has Shalini Pandey, Anjali, Michael Madsen, Subbaraju and Srinivas Avasarala in important roles.
