Anasuya Bharadwaj is billed as the top TV anchors in the Telugu states at the moment. After seeing monumental success in anchoring, she forayed into acting in movies and stunned the audiences with her selection of roles. She aced in her portrayal of the antagonist ACP Jaya Bharadwaj in Kshanam (2016) and the pivotal Rangamattha in Rangasthalam (2018.) She is back in her acting shoes and ready to entertain with the upcoming movie Pushpa The Rise.
There were speculations earlier whether Anasuya was working in Pushpa. She cleared the air by posting a picture on the sets of Pushpa. The anticipation kept growing owing to the star studded cast. The makers of Pushpa have been constantly revealing character looks of all the cast. Pushpa is written and directed by Sukumar and will be released in two parts. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen opposite Icon Staar Allu Arjun as the female lead. Sunil is playing the role of the antagonist in part 1 and Fahadh Faasil will be introduced as the baddie for the part 2. The story revolves around smuggling of red sandalwood. Pushpa is bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is composing the chartbuster music album. Pushpa : The Rise will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages simultaneously on December 17th, 2021.
