Speaking at the Pushpa 2 Thank You Meet, Allu Arjun promised his fans to make them mad, mad, mad proud in the future as well. In his 25-minute speech, Bunny made it a point to thank everyone from the worldwide distributors of the magnum opus to the dubbing artists who have worked on the movie’s dubbed versions.
The Icon Star sprinkled his speech with anecdotes. He also stated that he doesn’t like referring to the Hindi film industry as Bollywood.
Excerpts from his speech:
I thank the audience in India and in foreign countries for showering their love on Pushpa 2. I want to dedicate the success of this film to my army of fans.
Sukumar to me is not just a person but an emotion. When he gets emotional, I too get emotional. Director is everything. Whatever is good in the film is because the director loved it and enabled it. I thank Sukumar for guiding us through everything. Sukumar is a genius.
The climax fight was shot for about 18-20 days. Most of the time, I shot using ropes. I had not a single scratch on my body, thanks to the choreographer’s meticulous planning. This is the longest I did a ropes-based fight in my career. The level of execution achieved is awesome.
Devi Sri Prasad‘s music is not just about his work but also about the love he poured into the project. There was a time when I wondered about my songs hitting millions. Thanks to him, they have hit the billion mark.
The art directors (Ramakrishna and Monica) mounted naturalistic sets. Every time I was on set, I was amazed by their work.
Fahadh Faasil is one of the most important primary artists of the film. His contribution is incredible. He is a brother from another motherland.
