Ravi Babu, the actor turned director, is now ready to release his movie Aaviri on November 1st, 2019. The movie, the teaser and trailer of which were released recently, has an interesting premise to it.
The presence of an unseen spirit in a house and how to deal with it—this is the theme of Aaviri. Ravi Babu was inspired by a real life incident in Warangal. You would be surprised to know, the seed of this movie was sowed with the help of a former Warangal Collector, Amrapali.
In 2018, Amrapali, who took over the post of Collector, narrated an incident about an ancient ghost of 134 years, living in one of the rooms of her Collector bungalow. One Geroge Palmer, a Chief Engineer, who constructed roads from Warangal to Khammam, was the ghost living in the bungalow. The information was, this man became so attached to the Collector’s bungalow, he made the house his haven many years ago.
Amrapali’s words were publicized everywhere. Ravi Babu got inspired by this story of the Warangal Collector and wrote the screenplay of Aaviri. The trailer of Aaviri clearly established this inspired fact.
We will have to wait till November 1st to watch Aaviri!
