Superstar Mahesh Babu has been shooting for his movie with Rajamouli in Odisha for the past many days. Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran are also reportedly participating in the ongoing schedule. Koraput is where the current schedule is on.
Pravati Parida, the first woman Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, has acknowledged the presence of the crew of the prestigious movie in her State. In a social media post, the BJP leader said that her State is a wealth of landscapes and locations that are best-suited for film shoots. She added that, previously, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule was shot in Malkangiri.
“Renowned director SS Rajamouli‘s upcoming film SSMB29, starring South superstars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, along with internationally acclaimed actress Priyanka Chopra, is being shot in Koraput, proving that Odisha has a wealth of cinematic landscapes for film shooting. This will give a major boost to Odisha Tourism, making it a prime shooting destination. We welcome all film industries to explore Odisha’s potential and promise full support and world-class infrastructure,” the Deputy CM added.
Rajamouli’s film is yet to lock its release date. MM Keeravani is composing the music.
