On the work front, Nikhil is shooting for Karthikeya 2. It is touted to be a mythological thriller with some incidents dating back 5000 years. Nikhil will be playing the role of a doctor. Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has been roped in to play a pivotal role. Beside Karthikeya 2, Nikhil will be seen in 18 Pages. Anupama Parameswaran is the female lead and the film is jointly produced by GA2 Pictures, a division of Geetha Arts and Sukumar Writings. Palnati Surya Pratap, a screenwriter/director who is a protege of Sukumar will be directing 18 Pages.
