Billed under AK Entertainments and Hasya Movies, ‘Ooru Peru Bhairavakona’, is presented by Anil Sunkara, produced by Razesh Danda, and co-produced by Balaji Gutta.

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona Storyline:

Sundeep Kishan’s character Basava starts the movie by robbing the bride of her valuables during a countryside wedding. He escapes from the scene after being attacked.

He flees on his route in a car with Geetha (Kavya Thapar) and John (Viva Harsha), only to arrive at a strange village called Bhairavakona where the people and traditions appear unfamiliar.

Although Basava and company want to leave the village before the next day, things in the unusual community are not as they appear. There, Basava meets Bhoomi (Varsha Bollamma), his love interest, and things begin to puzzle him more.

Ooru Peru Bhairavakonda Review:

The movie takes place in Bhairavakona, an imaginary village. According to the introduction, the origins of it can be found in the Krishnadevaraya Era, when four pages of the Garuda Puranam were inadvertently left out.

The movie’s opening segment establishes that the village’s matriarch, Peddamma, possesses heavenly power and can be both violent and kind. The movie moves into the realm of crime comedy after Sundeep Kishnan’s character is introduced.

An original concoction of humor, horror, and fantasy. Appreciation should be given to the technical execution of the horror, suspenseful scenes, and especially interval segment. Fantastic work has been done by Director VI Anand.

On Screen Performances:
Every frame showcases Sundeep Kishan’s physique transformation and his efforts. With the mass hero trait, he has performed admirably in the role of Basava.

Varsha Bollamma is a sharp actor who plays a naïve villager. A few of Kavya Thapar’s scenes are comedic, which fits her character perfectly. There is a good character arc in Ravi Shankar’s role. Jayaprakash, Vadivukkarasi, and a few more actors portray serious roles that they well justify.

Vennela Kishore and Viva Harsha strike the chords with the audience in a couple of comedic moments. Brahmaji and Chammak Chandra are brief, but their roles are good.

Off-screen Technicalities:
The song ‘Nijame Ne Chebuthunna’, performed by Sid Sriram, highlights Shekar Chandra’s musical aesthetic, while BGM is completely in sync with VI Anand’s narrative. A bonus is the editing by Chota K Prasad and the cinematography by Raj Thota.

The VFX division produces a very impressive amount of work. The 47 minutes of running time for the VFX was a great use of a unique opportunity.

End Note:

It is a potentially captivating plot that is skillfully carried out with the aid of excellent visuals, soundtrack, and acting.
