In Tollywood, summer is regarded as one of the greatest seasons for releasing high-profile films because of the strong public turnout at theaters, especially after the Sankranti season. Before summer arrived, it was customary for a few high-profile actors to finish their filming so they could unwind on the sweltering summer days.
However, just as the summer of last year had little likelihood of big-budget film releases, so too does this year.
Since most of the big celebrities are busy filming their next projects, there aren’t many huge films coming out this summer. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ with Rebelstar Prabhas and ‘Family Star’ starring Vijay Deverakonda are the only two well-known films scheduled for summer 2024 release so far.
Not only does Prabhas have to complete filming ‘The Raja Saab’ with Maruthi, but he also needs to shoot ‘Salaar 2’ with Prashanth Neel this year. Therefore, it is unlikely that the “Salaar” actor will receive any rest in the midst of these obligations.
With “Pushpa 2” and “Devara,” starring Allu Arjun and Jr. NTR, now in production, the actors are anticipated to start work on their next projects in the middle of summer.
Jr. NTR, who gained widespread recognition pan-India following “RRR,” has teamed up with Hrithik Roshan on “War 2,” which might start filming any time.
Conversely, Allu Arjun is under Sukumar’s direction and needs to finish filming “Pushpa 2,” yet industry insiders are connecting him to Trivikram Srinivas’ next movie.
Mega Power Star Ram Charan, who needs to finish off his filming for ‘Game Changer’ under Shankar Shanmugham’s direction, will have to kick-start shooting for his next, under ‘Uppena’ fame Buchi Babu Sana’s direction.
Following the enormous success of “Guntur Kaaram,” Mahesh Babu has been physically preparing for SSMB29 through rigorous training, as he and SS Rajamouli have declared a major undertaking next.
Fans of these stars will be inundated with updates as a result of their busy summer schedules. Despite the lack of a major release, Tollywood enthusiasts will be occupied with fascinating news about their idols.
